Nominations for the Representative of the Lord of the Manor of Bovey Tracey

This award is awarded annually at the Town Council’s Annual Meeting on 10th May 2010 to a Bovey or Heathfield resident, who in the opinion of the Town Council, for whatever reason, has made a significant voluntary contribution to the Parish of Bovey Tracey over the past 10 years and should be publicly recognised for those actions.
If you know of someone who should be considered for this award, please contact the Town Council Office for a nomination form and the criteria for nomination or download a copy by clicking on the PDF button. Completed nomination forms should be returned by 31st March 2010 to:

Parish Action Plan Update - September 2008

It was the intention of the Town Council to undertaken a full Parish Plan Review (PPR) in 2008. Due to the proposal for a Unitary Devon arising out of various influencing factors, it was agreed to postpone the review until 2009.
The Town Council is now awaiting the decision of the Boundary Committee on the proposal for a Unitary Devon before undertaking the PPR, as the Town Council may need to include consultation with parishioners on some elements of the Boundary Committee’s decision.
In the meantime, the Town Council felt it was appropriate to reveiw the current Parish Plan and provide residents with an update, prior to undertaking the full PPR.
