The service will be followed by an official Act of Remembrance at the Town’s War Memorial in Town Hall Place with the laying of wreaths in memory of those brave men and women lost during the two World Wars and subsequent conflicts.

A village event. See Father Christmas riding in his pony and trap down Widecombe hill. FREE presents for all children 11 and under. On and around the green, there will be mulled wine and mince pies, fruit punch, hot chestnuts, raffle for the history group and a children's charity (1st prize - hamper), soup, biscuit decorating, Christmas card making, 'Santa Special' meals at 1 for children, old fashioned games, fir cone decorating, turkey and cranberry panini, local market and food tastings.

Please come along to see and hear about what has been happening in the Parish over the past 12 months.  This will include an update on the activities of the Town Council and reports from local organisations and primary schools.
