To mark War Graves Week, 11-19 May, Commonwealth War Graves guide and Bovey Tracey Heritage Trust member Mark Bailey will lead a tour of the war graves in Bovey Tracey Cemetery, Coombe Lane TQ13 9PH on Saturday 18 May. Starting at 11am, he will tell the stories, amongst others, of Bovey’s oldest casualty, its only female casualty and how a Liverpudlian schoolboy came to be buried in a military grave in the town. The tour will last about 75 minutes, is free and will involve walking on uneven grass amongst graves.
