A Royal visitor to Bovey Tracey

Congratulations to Stella and her team at the Community Kitchen Hub

HRH The Duke of Gloucester and  Mr David Fursdon, Lord Lieutenant of Devon visited  Bovey Tracey on Tuesday 19th March. They came to hear about the important work Stella West- Harling and her team are involved in.

For many years Stella has been working to improve  the nutritional content of food for older people. She has recently  been awarded a significant grant to enable her to continue to work with Exeter  and Plymouth Universities  to  develop protein supplements  for older people.

Stella has continued to run and develop the Community Kitchen Hub  on Fore  Street providing affordable food and company for many local residents.
