Devon and Torbay Local Transport Plan

The Devon and Torbay Local Transport Plan sets out the priorities for transport across the county between 2025 and 2040. There is a summary leaflet on the website, a short video, a  section on Rural Devon and Market and Coastal Towns (which includes Bovey Tracey) and a consultation questionnaire.    Transport has often been a hot topic in our parish, and we hope many of you will want to look at the strategy and have your say.

There will also be a copy of the strategy and the consultation questionnaire in Bovey Tracey library.   The closing date is 30th November 2024.

Devon Local Cycling and Walking Plan

This is a very detailed plan, with a section on Heart of Teignbridge.  It is designed to encourage active travel, i.e. walking and cycling, something many of us would support.  The main proposals include the Teign estuary trail but there are no further proposals which cover Bovey Tracey.  Again there is a consultation questionnaire with a closing date of 30th November 2024.
