Bovey Tracey Town Council would like to hear residents' views on a proposal to plant trees at two sites in the Parish - Rendells Meadow and the small open green space off Le Molay-Littry Way/Churchfields Drive which leads to The Oaks.
The proposal is linked to an exciting initiative by Devon Wildlife Trust called 'Saving Devon's Treescapes' that aims to reverse the decline in Devon's trees. It also supports the Town Council's Climate Emergency Declaration made in 2019 and efforts to improve the town's environment.
The plan is to crate small circles of 5-7 fruit and native trees at each location to enhance the environmental value of each site. The planting scheme has been sympathetically designed by Devon Wildlife Trust.
