With effect from 3 January, the timetable for the Stagecoach route 39 bus has been enhanced to give a half hourly service between Bovey Tracey and Newton Abbot. In addition to the existing Exeter to Newton Abbott service calling at Union Square Bovey Tracey, at 14 minutes past the hour for much of the day, there is now also a bus leaving at 44 minutes past the hour each hour from 9.44am to 6.44pm on Mondays to Fridays, and also on Saturdays with minor variations. The corresponding return journey leaves Newton Abbot at 15 minutes past the hour arriving at Union Square at 40 minutes past the hour from 10.15am to 6.15pm.
