This week sees the start of a month long consultation period undertaken by Bovey Tracey Town Council in conjunction with Devon Communities Together, seeking your views on the proposed Community Hub Building.
What is the Bovey Tracey Community Hub development?
As you are probably aware, Bovey Tracey Town Council has recently sold the leasehold of the Town Hall. It has been a long-standing aspiration of Bovey Tracey Town Council to create a new Community Hub building within the town, hosting the Town Council, Library, Information Centre and Public Toilets on the site of the Old Thatched Inn.
By bringing these essential and valued community services together, we can modernise and extend the services and facilities on offer to the local community. It is hoped that the hub will be a beneficial and accessible resource for local people, businesses and organisations.
To ensure the hub meets the needs and aspirations of the local community, we want to hear from you about what you would like to see at the new hub. The feedback from the consultation will be used to help finalise the Design Brief for the site.
How to get involved?
You can obtain a copy of the survey from the Town Council Offices, Library, Devon Guild of Craftsmen, Information Centre as well as other businesses within the Town. You can also pick up a copy at Heathfield and Brimley Post Offices.
There are drop-off points for completed surveys at the following locations:
Alternatively, the survey can be completed online via https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/BoveyTraceyCommHub
Closing date for responses is 31st May 2016.
